Police are investigating after an 8-month-old boy was found dead inside a Bronx apartment Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency responders went to an apartment on East Tremont Avenue in West Farms and transported the infant to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
There was no apparent sign of trauma. The medical examiner is expected to determine a cause of death.
The boy has been identified as Lavelle L. Langley.
