A 57-year-old street vendor is being charged in connection with the death of a man who was found wounded on the platform of a downtown Manhattan subway station, police said Saturday
David Green, a Bronx resident, was arrested on a manslaughter charge, investigators said.
He is accused of killing 51-year-old Alfredo Ramos of Jersey City, New Jersey.
Police found Ramos suffering from a head injury after they got a report of an assault at the Delancey Street and Essex Street subway station complex. Ramos died Thursday.
It was unclear whether Green had obtained a lawyer who could comment on the charge.
