96-Year-Old NY Woman Dances to Pitbull on “America's Got Talent”

A 96-year-old New Yorker received a standing ovation after a dazzling ballroom dance set to a Pitbull song on "America's Got Talent."

Tao Porchon-Lynch teamed up with 26-year-old dance instructor Vard  for a lively mamba set to Pitbull's 2014 song "Fireball."

The judges clapped and laughed as Porchon-Lynch, who already holds the Guinness Book of Records title for oldest yoga instructor, spun around and kicked her legs into the air while propped up on Vard's back. After the performance, the pair received a raucous standing ovation.

Judges Howie Mandel, Howard Stern, Heidi Klum and Melanie Brown unanimously sent the pair to the next round.

Before their performance, Brown asked the pair, "So you think this is a million-dollar act?"

"She's standing right next to me," Vard replied.

Afterward, she surprised Mandel by revealing she'd had three hip replacements.

"I don't let anything get the best of me," she said.

Porchon-Lynch first began dancing at 85. Since then she's won hundreds of first place ribbons at various dance competitions. She met Vard during one of his mambo classes six years ago.

People often are surprised by her energy but Porchon-Lynch told the Journal News on Monday that if you believe in something, go for it.

"Nothing is impossible. Inside of us is the power to do anything," she said.
