A body recovered from the Hudson River Wednesday evening has been identified as a 23-year-old Bronx man who went missing last Thursday, police said.
The victim, Kevin Keane, was last seen inside his home Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m., police said. He was wearing eye glasses, a grey sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and brown boots at the time of his disappearance.
Police found a man's body in the Hudson River near 158th street at around 6 p.m. Wednesday. NYPD's Harbor Unit transported the body to the 125th Street pier, where paramedics pronounced the man dead, authorities said.
Detectives concluded that the body belonged to the 23-year-old during a preliminry investigation, police said.
A medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
