A fire at an Upper West Side highrise on Saturday afternoon left one person seriously injured, the FDNY said.
The fire broke out at the 12th floor of the building on West End Avenue and 73rd Street, firefighters said. It didn't spread to other floors.
One person was taken to a hospital in serious condition, firefighters said.
About 80 firefighters and emergency workers responded and the fire was under control in about an hour, the FDNY said.
The cause is under investigation.
The fire comes just days after another in the neighborhood. That blaze in a seven-story building on 101st Street also seriously injured one person.
