No “DWTS” Comeback for Sugar Ray Leonard

Boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard met his match on Tuesday’s “Dancing with the Stars,” sparing Kendra Wilkinson and Kirstie Alley an early exit.

The former boxing champ and sports broadcaster became the third celebrity voted off ABC’s hit dancing competition. His follows “Psycho” Mike Catherwood and Wendy Williams' eliminations.

“Dancing” host Tom Bergeron said head judge Len Goodman remarked Leonard was the “heart of the season.”

Still, the athlete had landed second to last on the leaderboard for his Viennese waltz on Monday.

“That’s life,” Leonard said after learning his fate. “I will cherish this moment.”

Earlier, it seemed reality star Kendra Wikinson might be the one sent packing. The former “Girl Next Door” had the worst score of the pack and had been chided by her dance partner for telling the judges, “I just don’t care” after listening to Carrie Ann Inaba’s critique.

“I’m so embarrassed,” Wilkinson was showing saying afterward. “I just want to go hide.”

Emmy-winner Kirstie Alley was also shown in backstage footage from Monday night wrestling with her performance.

“You can’t do this two weeks in a row,” she said of losing a shoe during her routine, just one week after taking a tumble on the ballroom. “I’m psyching myself out.”

“Dancing” producers also introduced an element of drama by keeping this week’s leaderboard leader, Chelsea King, in jeopardy until the final moments.

The Disney star will join NFL-er Hines Ward, wrestler Chris Jericho, actor Ralph Macchio, model Petra Nemcova and musician Romeo back on the ballroom next week.
