Broadway performers stranded at LaGuardia International Airport helped their fellow travelers pass the time after storms caused massive delays Sunday night.
The casts of Disney’s “Aladdin” and “The Lion King” held an impromptu "vocal battle" at the airport, according to fellow travelers.
“Wowowowow the casts of The Lion King and Aladdin are stranded at the airport (like me) and just performed wow,” tweeted one traveler.
Video from one of the terminals shows throngs of travelers crowded around the casts as they clap and sing numbers from their shows.
The casts were supposedly on their way to Orlando, one traveler told NBC 4 New York.
It’s not the first time casts from the popular Disney shows have held impromptu performances. In June of 2014, the cast of “The Lion King” burst out into song aboard the subway in New York City.
