There's another Kate getting married in the UK this year, and the supermodel is more than making up for the lack of royal status in high-end designer dressing.
Kate Middleton's has been a hot topic among the masses -- even here in America -- for months, but those in the fashion set have, in most cases, been even more intrigued to see what supermodel Kate Moss will wear on her wedding day to the frontman for the Kills, Jamie Hince. Initially, there were rumors (leaked by a pal, Vivienne Westwood) that the model would design her own dress, but now reports indicate that her longtime friend John Galliano will do the honors.
According to Modelinia, the model let slip the news at a dinner during London Fashion Week for Topshop's Sir Philip Green. Compared with the other soon-to-be-married Kate, who plans to wear a more conservative, stately gown, we're wagering Galliano's gown for Moss will have a more adventurous, fashion-forward flair -- Galliano, after all, spearheads couture for Dior along with his own collection. The two also share a certain wild-child approach to style, so it will be interesting to see what a collaborative effort will create.
