What they're wearing is not really that important, which is, really different from what street style photography has been in the past. It was always very much a report of what people were wearing. For me, that's much less important. It's the idea. The idea of a vintage top with a menswear bottom and a pair of converse. The concept, the abstract idea is much more important than trying to report what people were wearing."
