As the company plays to-IPO-or-not-to-IPO, Prada will launch e-commerce for U.S.-based consumers tomorrow.
Beginning July 1, American shoppers can buy Prada online and, if the brand's millionth venture to float an IPO goes through, the public will be able to purchase shares of Prada on the Milan stock market.
The Prada e-store is currently available in several other countries across the world, making the U.S. launch a relatively late endeavor. While we love the convenience of shopping from home, we still love the experience of visiting Prada's sublime, Rem Koolhaas-designed store.
