Diane von Furstenberg is recovering from a collision with another skier in Aspen, and, while over the shock of the seemingly serious incident, is none too pleased.
The designer told WWD the story:
Barry [Diller] and I were skiing happily ... Some Brazilian man, who could not ski, lost control and went straight at me, hitting me badly on my face and ribs (with his camera). I went to the emergency room and then flew to UCLA. I look like Tyson on his worst fight. Broken nose and some light facial fractures. I guess it could have been worse ... but it does NOT look pretty.
DVF went on to give thanks that she can rely on her creative director, Yvan Mispelaere, in the sample room, who will presumably be picking up the pre-fashion week slack while she's laid up in LA.
