Remakes of Justin Theroux's iconic glasses from the David Lynch classic, Mulholland Drive, are available at Moscot right now. Shop fast -- there are only 300 for sale. We should probably mention that we completely adore Moscot and their many retro, real-deal frames so while we are kind of excited about the release, we also feel a trip to their Orchard St location is worth your while whether or not you've got a thing for mod french style. Moscot's website tells us the glasses are "Based on a vintage French frame from the 1960's that Justin wore for the film, Mulholland Drive, these frames are an exact replica – right down to its extra thick temples, uniquely shaped hardware, hinge plate, five-barrel hinge, bridge and end piece."
Sounds pretty legit to us. And after all, we're not suggesting you channel Theroux's character, Adam Kesher, just his style (finding Billy Ray Cyrus in your home unexpectedly will not happen. We hope.) . We should mention the frames flatter a gal (like most of the Moscot vintage shapes) just as well so don't be intimidated by the brooding man reference.
Moscot is located at
